Dr. Saley graduated from California Polytechnic University in 2008 with a degree in Psychology and again from USC in 2013 with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. As a lifelong athlete whose college and competitive hopes to play beach and indoor volleyball were interrupted by injury, he appreciates how much of an impact Physical Therapy can have on a person’s life and well-being. Since that time he has enjoyed helping people to not only recover from injuries, but achieve optimal functioning in order to return to meaningful roles and activities.
Dr. Saley was also involved in the creation and implementation of a research study exploring non-specific chronic low back pain at Casa Colina Centers for Rehabilitation. He feels that a strong understanding of the research literature is the best way for him to effectively and efficiently serve his patients, and he plans on continuing a strong presence in the research literature.
As a clinician, Dr. Saley prescribes to a strong movement science approach, believing that by changing the way a person moves we as Physical Therapists can have powerful effects on not only the current issue but prevention of future dysfunction.
In his personal life, Dr. Saley enjoys playing beach volleyball, BBQing, Sharks hockey, and preparing for a Mt. Whitney ascent in 2017.
